Le Fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulain

the new semester started on monday!! and we were all wishing MMU is located in Wilayah Persekutuan Cyberjaya and not Cyberjaya, Selangor.

as usual, the first week is usually the 'leisure' week. no tutorials, with a day off on the middle of the week (wednesday is a no class day for me) boredeom will be my faithful company, rest assured.

**from now on, this post will be about review on a movie that i watch last night.

Le Fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulain (you can guess the meaning)

honey, it's my first french movie. (ok, i'm not very sure of that, but for sure this is the first french movie i am recommending to everyone). the movie main character is amelie, potrayed by audrey tatou, of the da vinci code fame. amelie is the only daughter to a socially disengaged doctor(dad) and a teacher(mum), who later died being crashed by a woman who commited suicide by jumping off a rooftop.(this sounds crazy).

and a love interest who looks a lot like joshua chasez of n'sync.

amelie was home-schooled as his dad was deluded into thinking she has a heart condition and declare she is unfit for the school environment. (deluded because amelie heartbeats shoots off only during the checkups as her father only touch her during these times)

the movie is centered about how little things in life we often take for granted can bring us enormous amount of joy. amelie life changed forever for the better on the same day Lady Di departed from the world. so, watch the movie yourself.

oh yes, this movie was released in 2001.
